Australia's most innovative and hands-on festival of youth employment

ACTIVATE YOUR BUSINESS!

Join some of South Australia's most exciting brands on July 3 for the most innovative and experiential youth employment festival in the country.

In 2022 we ran a hugely successful pilot event with major partners Operation Flinders, the Specialised Assistance School for Youth and the Adelaide Showground. At WTF? 2022 attendees could try their hand at DJing, podcasting, changing a truck tyre, and using fire truck equipment. There were apprenticeship and casual work opportunities available; they could even join a yoga session and learn about careers in wellbeing. More about WTF? 2022.

What the Future? is expanding in 2024 to offer over 100 experiences and activities for future and current work seekers.

i'm interested! What next?

Get in touch! We'll help you move through an easy 5-step process to becoming an Activator. It’s a matter of committing, creating, connecting and then confirming. And on July 3 we celebrate!

WHAT IS AN ACTIVATOR?

An Activator is a Festival exhibitor; an industry, organisation, small business or even a sole trader that:

  • is passionate about the growth and wellbeing of their workers ... staff are their number one asset
  • wants to attract people who share their mindset ... and where better to look than the current generation with its focus on development?
  • could be from industries/organisations affected by skill and worker shortages ... they want to show why theirs is a great  place to work

Activators bring along an activity related to your work/industry that attendees can try, it's a great conversation starter. There will be a booking calendar so attendees can register for in-demand actitivies (more information pending).

Activators also have opportunities available such as:

    • full-time, part-time or casual work
    • apprenticeships
    • paid trials
    • work experience (organised through schools)
    • mentoring or support

Let's meet young people wherever they are at on the pathway to work - from thinking about what might be to talking about jobs available right now, and everywhere in between. We have small, medium or large sites available - the only limit is !

We also co-design trails, and devise branded hubs for our Partners and Sponsors.
