Our founding partners Operation Flinders, the Specialised Assistance School for Youth and the Adelaide Showground reckon that this employer led and engaged approach to future pathways is the way of the future. At our pilot event attendees could try their hand at DJing, podcasting, changing a truck tyre, and using fire truck equipment. There were 5 virtual reality experiences, careers in health talks over a yoga class and loads of young successful people sharing their stories along the way.
Some of our young people just want to learn more about what interests them, some want to meet someone who might provide some work experience and of course, there's plenty in the market fo apprenticeship and paid jobs;
